I had a good experience with all the staff and my service writer at Paradise Chevrolet,. Except for a repeat issue that happened again similarly on my last visit. On my last visit previously a service worker did not pay attention and chipped off a small portion of paint on my driver side door. And on this last visit, the mechanic servicing under the hood of my pick up truck again chipped off a small portion of paint. I need paint surface where the work was performed. I’ve owned my Silverado 1500 pick up truck since it was brand new and I’ve only been the sole person to drive the truck so I know where every Nick from road debris has impacted the front of my truck and I am the only one that has washed my truck top to bottom and I know every inch of my truck. The staff at Paradise Chevrolet, are great and fantastic, but who’s ever performing their work tasks are careless. But not all our careless it’s just been my luck. I take very good care of my Chevrolet, Truck and I. have received comments from past staff and service riders at Paradise Chevrolet, with the past 15 years how well I take care of my truck. I’m not sure about having my vehicle serviced again at Paradise because of careless mechanics good but I would not be happy with losing the friendship from the staff at Paradise Chevrolet,

I’ve been taking my Colorado duramax here for years. The notification for “poor def quality” came up so took it in. It’s my daily driver and I only put high quality def in it. The code came up as one of the sensors went bad, easy fix said the first guy that helped me. I got passed off to another customer service guy who insisted the entire def system needed to be replaced for $4k+ plus and refused to just change the sensors and see how the truck responds. I said no and had two other separate mechanics look at it and both independently said just the sensor needed to be replaced, which is obviously a MUCH cheaper repair and truck is now running great with no issues. It was upsetting and frustrating to say the least to waste the time and money for “ diagnosing” to be lied to and attempting to upsell me a huge repair that wasn’t needed. Will not be bringing my vehicle back here again.

3 hours for an oil change/tire rotation (no wash) is a little long for an "appointment". Its been at least 2 years since the dealership quit using a label printer for oil change reminders. The handwritten stickers don't reflect the professional image the employees work hard to convey. Possible BAR violation - Chevy maint schedule calls for 5000 serivce interval, my sticker done with a blunt sharpie on an upside down label tells me to come back in 3000. Come on guys, spend the $300 and get it right

I've been bringing my truck 2019 Silverado since I bought in 2018. All the servicing has been done there. On May 26th I turned it in for a schedule over 90,000 miles full service. While servicing, and 3 days later I was asked to come by to see the truck. There was a strong, loud thumb noise coming out the engine after starting. That loud noise was not there at all when I turned her in for the service. I was told and informed by the main guy that it was a flapper and somewhat a known problem etc. He said all 8 of them needs to be replace. I told him that that noise was not there when I turned in the truck. I then agreed to presume the repair and replacement. The main guy called me back and he tried GM recommendation, that they agreed to pay 50% of the repair cost which was $3500ish. Over a month later when the repair was done. Mind you that I originally turned in the truck for servicing which cost me $2100. After driving the truck out for the first time after the repair and servicing, I noticed that the air condition was not blowing cool air. I contacted them and turn ed the truck back in the next day to service the air condition free on. Its been two day since having my truck and I absolutely do not have the confident that the work done to my truck is 100% done properly. If they missed the AC free on, what else is not done right or service properly?

The most positive experience I've ever had at a dealership! About 2 months ago I started my search for my new car. Rob Lambert took me on a test drive and gave me some information, the day before my purchase I got a text from he dealership if I was still interested in the car and gave me a price I was ok with, spoke with Rob again and my husband filled out the credit application the night before, went in to get my car and finance literally took 30 minutes! I have never in my life been in and out of a dealership that quickly Minh was fast and very organized no pressure and explained all of our documents and made my trade in easy. Rob also had negotiated the price with me well with zero pressure! He had my car ready to go so I can move the car seat over and went over features with me and I was on my way. I cant thank Rob and Minh enough! I will definitely consider this dealership again, buying a car can be stressful enough and these two made it so easy! I am thoroughly impressed with Paradise Chevrolet!!! After our closest local dealer was unable to resolve an ongoing issue with our vehicle, I decided to drive to Paradise Chevrolet. From the ease of making an appointment online, to the enthusiastic greeting when I arrived, I was impressed. I spoke with Ian our Service Representative and explained the ongoing issue. The car did not show a code to help diagnose the problem, but Ian didn't let that stop him and worked with his team to find the problem and SOLVE it. Our other dealer had our car for 3 weeks without a resolution. Ian and his team had our car for 4 days and fixed it. In addition while our car was in the shop, Ian called daily with an update to keep us in the loop. Paradise Chevrolet will be our new "home" for all service on our vehicle. During a routine oil change Paradise “Diagnosed car” as having something else wrong with it, (it wasn’t identified on the write up though…hmm?!??) told me to go to my “local” dealer. Local dealer said the only thing wrong was a leaking oil plug. (Most likely from my service at Paradise). Called and asked to speak to a manager, but the service guy called me back instead. Then argued with me and told me “you chose to take the car somewhere else”. I asked for the manager to call me, and they haven’t yet. Super scammy. Super shady.

The repair when fine and my service representative was great HOWEVER - my car was broken into while in your possession and NOBODY at the dealership felt the need to tell me. When I called I was told it was my responsibility to file an insurance claim. I was also told by the dealership that they would be in touch with me on Monday 8/11 - today is wednesday and I still haven't heard a word. Approximately $400 worth of items was stolen from the vehicle and it was literally delivered to me with trash throughout the cab. My insurance and registration where also taken and now I have to go through the process of obtaining new documents.

I purchased a new 2026 Chevy ZR2 Diesel Truck from Paradise Chevrolet from salesperson Scott Luttenbergeron Friday 9/26/2025, On Saturday I informed Scott the backup camera was not working and I did a in-cabin software update to see if that would work but it didn't work. Sales person Scott instructed me to come in on Monday to service and speak with Carlos in service. Came into service at 9:00am but Carlos informed me no one was available to work on the backup camera and to come back another day. Called Carlos Tuesday morning to bring my truck in at 1:00pm because the "guy" who works on backup cameras would be back from lunch then. When I got to the dealership @ 1pm Carlos was not in his office. There is another service person (don't recall his name) who shares an office with Carlos informed me that Carlos was at lunch from 1pm to 2pm and to either wait an hour until he returns or come back later because he didn't know what Carlos was going to do. He said that in any case Carlos should not have told me to just come in at 1:00pm without first scheduling an appointment with service (I have no idea if Carlos made me an appointment with service or not and this guy didn't even check). I asked if I can leave the truck and get a loaner, he said Paradise does not provide loaners for clients, - I reiterated "You don't have loaners to clients...?" He said No, loaners are not provided at Paradise. This seemed bizarre since every dealership I've known offers loaners unless they are out. I said I can't wait an hour or come back in an hour cause I am on lunch break so I would like to leave my truck. He said OK, just leave the key on Carlos desk. I said don't you need my name or contact information so Carlos knows who's car & keys this is? & who to call? "He said that's not necessary "he'll figure it out",. Mind you, this guy didn't have another client, he was just sitting at his desk so Im thinking why isn't he a least checking my car in for the service like every other dealership I've been to. At this point im getting more and more frustrated with his apathetic attitude to a new customer to Paradise who literally just purchased a new ZR2 truck a couple days prior. I insisted to leave my name and phone number with my keys for Carlos and then walked over to pay my balance of the trade in pay off with Julian in Finance. Told Julian about the situation, Julian said the Paradise does provide loaners so he's not sure why the service guy would say that loaners are not provided to clients. Hence Im getting more frustrated. I received a call back from Carlos later that they needed my truck another day so I said OK, Carlos called Wednesday mid morning to inform me that the issue is due to a faulty backup camera processor unit. However, he said the processor units are not in stock and since its a new part he doesn't have an estimate of when it will be available. I asked Carlos in a case like this will I know if the availability in a week, month or when? He said he has no idea and would call whenever it is in.

When I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday to repair an oil leak, I was asked if I needed the vehicle back today or tomorrow. I said preferably today. The whole day went by and I never received a call. Come afternoon the next day, I hadn't received a call, so finally I called. My agent called me back and I couldn't believe the estimate.. $4300 to fix 2 minor leaks. I gave the go ahead to do one. On the third day, I called to get the status of my vehicle. My agent had gone home sick, so another agent had to help find the information on my vehicle. They told me they had to order a part and it should be done by Thursday. On Thursday I called to get the status. Another agent had to help find my vehicle information, as my original agent was still out sick. I wanted to know if my vehicle had even been started on. I never received a call back. So I left a voice message after the office had closed. On Friday, I hadn't received a callback for my voice message. So finally I called at 11am. I was told it was gonna be a few more days to work on my vehicle. I needed my vehicle back immediately and said I was coming in to get it. The stress and frustration your service department gave me for 5 days was unacceptable. I still had to pay the ridiculously high $245 diagnosis after 5 days of my vehicle just sitting there. I'm disappointed in the lack of ownership on a customer issue. I understand my agent was out sick, but someone should've stepped up and reached out to me that my vehicle was going to take time. Add this to your your ridiculous prices, I will not be bringing my vehicles back again.

It took me 3 appointments to have my issue resolved and Rose flat out lied to me regarding the price I paid. She wouldn’t give me proper credit for the $245 diagnostics fee I was charged. She did not apply that towards the repair. She tried telling me it was $698 for something Santa Paula Chevy charges $298 for the exact same thing. In total, I paid almost $600 for “work” that didnt need to be done. The catyltic conver was bad and covered under warranty. That’s what I was there for on my first trip and it was showing the code for the converter being bad. It should have been done the first trip. Instead, the code was cleared on 2 separate appointments and I was given the car back and told it was other things. After picking up the car, more than once, the engine light returned the next day each time. After 3 appointments the original thing I went there for was finally done and I’ve had no issues since. It was the catalytic converter all along. It was under warranty and should have been done at no charge. Although I wasn’t charged to replace it, Rose found a way to get almost $600 out of me first. First appointment charged me $245 and said my battery wasn’t tight which I know was a lie. I installed the battery the day before, It was brand new. She Then told me $433 for a perge solenoid and once I asked about applying my diagnostic charge, from yesterday to it, she said the price was normally $698 and she already subtracted it. To keep this short, she then started stumbling over her words when I questioned that. I told her I feel like she’s word playing me. She new she was caught in a lie. I then called Santa Paula Chevy and they told me $298 for the exact same thing. Magically, Rose now tells me $268. Even though that price still didn’t give me the proper credit, not wanting the argument, I decided to pay it and let it go. I get the work done and pick up my car. Next day my engine light turns on again and back to the original code I was there for the 1st appointment. I bring my car in and now I’m told it’s the catyltic converter and it was fixed under warranty. It should have been done the first trip but Rose found a way to get almost $600 from me first for things that wernt needed. I will never be back to this dealer. I am accepting of mistakes and I get things happen but the fact Rose flat out lied to me and I caught her in it, is to much for me to return.

Service intake was good. In for a software update, tire rotation and brake fluid flush. Car was ready early. After paperwork on p/u, I discovered tech had used DOT3 brake fluid per repair receipt. Service advisor stated Chevy says 3 or 4 was fine. When I got home to check manual, it states it should be DOT4!. Not the kind of error that I expect from a Chevy dealer.

I brought my Suburban to Paradise Chevrolet for service after two check engine lights appeared (“Service DEF” and “Service Transmission”). The issue was eventually diagnosed as rodent damage to the engine wiring harness. My vehicle remained in the shop for 78 days, with the replacement part backordered for more than seven weeks. Communication during this period was average at best. Most updates consisted only of “on order” or “still on back order, no update.” I ultimately had to contact GM Customer Service myself to get real information about the part’s status. Through my own follow-up, I learned the part shipped on 13 November, but even then, the dealership couldn’t provide an estimated arrival date. The Suburban was finally released on 28 November. Following pickup, I noticed the steering wheel was off-center by about five degrees to the right, even though a four-wheel alignment was supposed to be completed due to the extent of the repairs. The receipt did not reflect that an alignment was performed, which is concerning given the scope of work. I want to highlight that Erika Sanchez was excellent—professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the process. However, for a repair that lasted nearly three months, I expected a service manager to reach out personally. Even a brief call to acknowledge the situation and reassure me that the team was doing everything possible would have gone a long way. That kind of proactive communication is what builds trust and customer loyalty. Overall, the lack of updates, the extended downtime, and the missed alignment left me disappointed. A little more leadership engagement and attention to detail could have easily turned this experience into a positive one.

When we dropped the car off for an engine light, we were supposed to get the status update right away. I had to call the service department and speak to service advisor April Waldman. She wasn't nice, spoke with an attitude. She said the car would not be ready for about a week. I asked for a loaner, she said no! So I had to pay out of pocket for rental in order to go to work! Unacceptable. Keep in mind that this is a new car, a 2024 Trax. Major components don't break on new cars. We never received a phone call advising that the car was ready for pickup. I had to go online and search for the status update. I really think Paradise Chevrolet needs to do a review on customer support.

I came in for an oil change and to replace my fuel filter on my 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.6 Duramax. My appointment was at 1pm and I arrived at 12:30pm and was told it would be done at 3pm. I ask at 3pm how it was going and what is the status and was told it is almost done. It is now 4pm and ask about the status and still no truck. I finally get my truck around 5pm and go to drive off and my truck dies in front of the toyota dealership. They tell me they have to keep my truck and will look at it on monday, now this is on saturday mind you and I am stranded with my wife and had to call an uber to get home. I was supposed to leave at 2am on monday to go to Laughlin which I ended up missing since my truck wasnt even done till 9:30am on Monday. I also had to uber back to the dealership to pick up my truck from which they told me they left out a gasket for the fuel filter. I don't know if I will be taking my business back since I didnt even get anything in return for the inconvenience, not even a wash. Oh well I guess you live and you learn. I am not a happy customer I have been taking my truck here for years.

I made my appointment online. When I arrived the service consultant who sits next to Carlos Guzman to,d me that my appointment was not in their system and was pretty rude saying I’d have to talk to their receptionist. Please note that this was the day after Christmas and it was apparent that it was a slow afternoon in the service department. Carlos stepped in and assured me that they could perform my oil change and engine air filter replacement. Carlos saved the excellent rating I gave you. Without his excellent client service, you would have received a poor rating. I would recommend that the other service consultant get additional training as he certainly performed poorly. Carlos know who this consultant is!

I had a 7 am appt and I waited 2-1/2 hours for an oil change and people that came in after me had received their service and done this is totally unacceptable what is the purpose of an appt if you still have to wait 2-1/2 hours might I also point out I was the first to check in and the last one to leave with the group of people that checked in at the same time I did not very happy .

We dropped off our vehicle on 12/18/2025 to get the catalytic fixed. Was told later that afternoon that parts would be ordered and should arrive the following day. On Friday afternoon i ended up calling because I hadn't heard anything from my advisor April and when I spoke with her she apologized and stated she was really busy and that the parts didn't come in. I asked for a loaner and was told they didn't have any. The following week still no part and was then told parts would arrive between 12/30 to 1/2. Wrong part arrived 12/30 so I then asked once again for a loaner and was told didn't have one. I explained that if my car wasn't ready by 1/2 I needed a loaner or my car and April stated I gtd you will have your car before the 5th of Jan but I can't gtd you a loner. Mind you I let her know I start my new job on the 5th. Jan 2nd came around and I called April amd left a voice-mail. Waited a few hours for a return call amd nothing. My husband and I went in and spoke to Matt who is the manager and explained my situation and finally walked out with a loaner. Car was finally ready for pick up on 1/6/2026. Customer service by April was not the best. She never offered a loaner and I was not going to pay for a rental. Please do better Chevy. We will not be returning especially after spending over 2K.
